Hello and welcome,

• I plan to use this substack to write about contemporary politics and the history of Asia/Europe.

• I'm currently a history student at The University of Oxford, with an interest in Ancient Mongolian and Modern Chinese History, as well as the history of Europe during the C19th/20th. I'm interested in analysing how societies cause, engage with, and deal with mass killings; and am currently looking to focus this enthusiasm on developing new analysis of the Mongol Empire.

• I enjoy learning about different cultures and religions with a keen focus on the way different societies engage with other, think, and believe. As I develop these interests I plan to use this site as a place to post interesting stories I come across and my analysis of them.
